We recognize that not everyone wants to work with behaviour. Or perhaps you understand how dog training is crucial for your current dog professional work. This program is a scaled down version of our DCBC program, but gives you everything you need to start your professional dog trainer career.
Enroll for the full programWe have been teaching people how to become dog trainers since 2009. Previously, we offered our most comprehensive program for students to earn their DCBC designation, along with our scaled down Handling certificate. As our industry progresses, more pet professionals are recognizing the need to have a formal education in dog training to allow them to better assist the dogs in their care.
To help with this, we have created the DDT program. This program covers everything you need to start your dog training career, excluding complex behaviour work. However, you will have the opportunity to upgrade your program at a reduced rate within 30 days of starting the DDT program. Investing in your education will allow you to be more successful in your career and ensure you are helping to improve the behaviour of the dogs you work with. It is ideal for dog walkers and owners or senior team members of dog service providers such as pet sitters, groomers, daycares, and boarding facilities.
Enroll today! Do-it-yourself, or demonstrate your skills to receive the DDT designation. The entire program can be done online from anywhere in the world! We currently do two intakes per year (Fall and Spring).
