Our practicum programs address this need so that you can gain the opportunity for quality hands-on training under the guidance of an experienced training team. We work with all dogs - any breed and/or behaviour- and offer a wide range of services to ensure you have the opporunity to work with dogs and their families in a variety of ways. We can fully customize your experience based on your areas of interest.

Group Class PracticumĀ
Are you ready to elevate your skills as a dog trainer? The Group Class Practicum offers you a unique opportunity to work alongside our expert training team, gaining hands-on experience in a real-world setting. This program is designed to help you develop your group class skills, build confidence, and become a more effective trainer.
Throughout the practicum, you'll develop essential skills in classroom management, delivering exceptional service, creating a stress-free environment for dogs, and mastering client communication. This is your chance to learn from seasoned professionals and improve your teaching techniques in a supportive environment.
How It Works:
- 18-week program designed to give you comprehensive, hands-on experience.
- Weeks 1-6: Observe and assist during group classes, gaining valuable insights into the dynamics of teaching.
- Week 6: Participate in a coaching session with one of our senior trainers to refine your skills.
- Weeks 7-18: Take the lead! You'll practice your teaching and leadership skills by teaching skills in group classes with ongoing guidance and feedback.
- Pre- and post-class briefing sessions with your mentors to discuss class details, troubleshoot challenges, and enhance your approach.
